Come to the Climate Café – a greener tomorrow begins with our conversations!

Starting from 17 June until October 2024, a Climate Café youth series will take place, where young people from Estonia and Latvia invite everyone to reflect, discuss, and take action for a greener future.

The Climate Café format is informal and friendly: over a cup of tea or a refreshing drink, we’ll talk about what truly matters – climate change, sustainable lifestyles, circular economy, and how each of us can be part of the change.

Schedule of the Climate Cafés:

First meeting: 17 June in Valga, Lembitu 2, at 16:00.

Next month we’ll meet in Latvia, then again in Estonia – the events will alternate between both countries until October. Exact dates will be agreed upon at each meeting.

At the cafés, young people will share their knowledge and experiences from the international youth exchange “The Impact of Climate Change Up Close”, which took place in Koikküla in April–May. Exciting initiatives will be introduced, ideas will be discussed together, and sometimes hands-on activities will take place – like reuse tips, poster-making, or textile upcycling.

Come along and bring a friend! The Climate Café is not about lectures – it’s about listening, discussing, and thinking together.
